Many people find it difficult to take time to smell the roses. When I lost my job last April, initially, I found it difficult to also occupy my time. God had other plans-for me to rest in the presence of Jesus. I learn to unwind, created a 14-day mindfulness moments curriculum, was inspired by the Holy Spirit to write two songs and answered God’s call to walk with him down the paths of Peace.

God met me where I was at. He continually is opening doors that he wants me to walk through. Sometimes, he needs to nudge me forward. If you want to give God a good laugh-tell him your plans. He has chosen me more for my weaknesses than for my strengths. I openly proclaim and profess my moment to moment need for Jesus Christ. No embarrassment. No apologies. The more I depend on Jesus Christ, the more I am convinced that he will shower peace on all my paths.
