A Note to Self

Today, I am celebrating my 32nd birthday. Perhaps like the life of many, my journey has been a roller coaster ride. As I do my devotions today, I recall how many times God has shown to me His faithfulness. I recall how many times God embraced me and comforted me especially during the moments when I felt so broken and lost, and those times when I felt like I am the only one carrying all life’s burden.

Remembering all those moments when God revealed Himself to me as a father, a husband, and a friend covered that is lacking and healed what is broken in me. God has been the first and the number one cheerleader who never get tired of lifting my spirit and reminding me, “My daughter, you are not alone, the Great I am is with you.”

God delights whenever we come to His presence and ask His help in our circumstances. Let us always make room for God to move in our life, for apart from Him, we can do nothing.
