A Season of Hope!
Today's Daily Devotion - December 11, 2021
By Dr. George J. Ceremuga
Beware that your hearts do not become drowsy from...the anxieties of daily life. Luke 21:34
Advent is meant to be a season of expectation and hope. The Lord is near and returning to establish his kingdom. Yet, for many the anxieties of daily life seemed to be amplified in December. We are encouraged to guard our hearts so that we can experience the true meaning of Advent: preparation for the return of Jesus Christ. Jesus desires to give us a deeper sense of peace and joy in His presence and to allow for inner healing through his mercy, love, and forgiveness.
Scripture readings, daily devotions, songs, and hymns help open us up to the love of Jesus Christ. A few minutes each day will grow the divine exchange with our Lord and Savior. You might catch yourself humming or singing a song or hymn repeatedly and watch out for those signals of grace that will be flowing your way.
Your redemption is at hand!
