An Open Door

I know your deeds. See, I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut. I know that you have little strength, yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name.

Revelation 3:8

Sometimes we allow either the circumstances or our fears to be bigger than our faith. We tend to forget who we are in God and our victory in Him because we are letting our worries and fears fill us. A change of perspective can make changes in our decision making. If we will focus our eyes on God and not on what He can do but on who He is, then we can boldly walk in faith because we know we have a big God. We can always choose to be grateful and cheerful at all times because we know He’s got us and that He’ll never let us down.

Whenever we are going through tough times, we often look for ways on how to get out of it. Instead of searching for the exit sign, why don’t we change our perspective by looking at our circumstance as a door to serve God and help advance His Kingdom here on earth? Having this kind of view removes the spotlight from us. In whatever season we may be, there is always a door of opportunity to serve God, a door God Himself opened, and no one can shut.

In what way can you serve God today?

The Lord Himself has set before us an open door.
