Be a Doer of the Word...

If today you hear his voice, harden not your heart. — Hebrews 3:7-8
Recently I purchased two cases of raw and unfiltered honey from the local vendor. Honey is a powerful medicine with a myriad of uses from allergies, cough, wounds; all as a powerful anti-inflammatory for our bodies. As I was talking with the foreman, he mentioned that five of his migrant workers from Mexico were going to stop by the clinic after work for the covid vaccine.
Apparently, they were going back to Mexico in a few months and thought it would be easier to get the vaccine here. This is where the Holy Spirit spoke, and I listened. I prayed the entire day for wisdom to provide medical informed consent for these men.
Like clockwork, I saw their truck pull into our parking lot at the end of the day. After a few minutes, I walked to the waiting area and greeted the five men in my broken Spanish. They appreciated my efforts to connect with them in their native language. Between my Spanish and their English, we were able to provide medical informed consent regarding the vaccine.
These men were young and healthy and at a very low risk of complications from covid. The side effects and risks of the vaccine were not warranted. Medical freedom and medical informed consent were provided. Now, the decision was up to them. Much to my delight, all five men left the clinic without the vaccine. Thank you, Jesus, my guiding light.
All life and healing come from God!
