Bless Those Who Persecute You

Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord. - Romans 12:19
Last week at the Creator model of healthcare class, we had the opportunity to build one another up. Our focus was on loving and forgiving those who trespass against us. The Lord’s prayer is a powerful reminder that forgiveness is not a suggestion but a requirement. We shared some of our personal experiences and encouraged one another to lead with love. We cannot control people, places, things, or events, only how we react to them.
This reminded us that whenever we give what little we have, Jesus will always find a way to multiply it beyond our expectations. When we offer grace and mercy with deep faith, Jesus works miracles with it and changes hearts. As our hearts are resting in the Sacred Heart of Jesus, we find pure peace in the present moment. For if we fail to love and forgive, that gives others power over us. Allow only the power of Jesus Christ to reign in your heart.
Bless and do no curse them.
