Desire to Worship

Read Psalm 108

Psalm 108 teaches us we may and should employ the words of Scripture as current prayers and praises that are appropriate for our current circumstances. Actually, Psalms and other scriptures in the Bible inspire a lot of worship songs.

Our hearts will overflow with the desire to worship God day and night when we realize that God’s mercy is so immense that if it could be measured, it would extend above the skies and His truth would stretch to the sky. God is worthy of praise. And He made us to declare God’s praise (Isaiah 43:21).

Have you tried singing your own song to God with no intimidation? God loves it when our praises are from our own heart, whether or not we are in tune.
