Do not worry about your life... - Matthew 6:25
Read Matthew 6:25-34
Friday, February 12, 2020, I had to ask my brother to bring me to the nearest hospital due to the severe pain on my right abdominal quadrant. I was so worried that it might be appendicitis. After doing some tests and observation at the emergency room, they sent me home as an outpatient with a request to undergo ultrasound on my kidney, ureter, and bladder.
Moments like that can make us feel worried. Worries with our health, about surgery if needed, about how much will the medical bill and other expenses be. There are a lot of other people going through a more difficult and serious medical condition aside from me. Do God still have time to think and care about me?
Remember the thief on the cross who turned to Jesus and said to Him, “Lord, remember me.” Perhaps the thief knows how unworthy and filthy he is, and he deserves death. But all he asked Jesus is to remember him. And Jesus said to him, “Today, you will be with me in Paradise.”
Whatever it is you are going through, God cares and He remembers. He knows you by name. Take heart, for you are not alone.
God loves you!
