Faith Even in the Darkest Times

Who is exempted from a testing of faith? None of us. It is necessary for us to mature. It is easy to say we have faith in Jesus when everything is going well in our lives. But when it is becoming darker and heavier, sometimes our tendency is to make our own game plan far from God.

As we seek God more and devote ourselves to His Word, our faith in Him increases. As we remember what God did in our life in the past, our faith strengthens. It is difficult to have faith in someone that we do not know, that is why it is vital to know who God is. The more we know Him, the more our confidence in Him grows. Every day we will wake up with hope, knowing that God has already prepared everything for us for the day.

If you feel like your faith is losing, pray. Whenever you feel doubt is weighing heavier than your faith, call on to God and ask Him to fill you up again with a kind of faith that turns to Him even in the darkest times. Read His Word and plant in your heart all His promises.
