Read Hebrews 11

Faith, according to the Book of Hebrews, is to “trust in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.” It’s not simple to have faith and certainty in something we can’t see. We logically analyzed things in our minds. It’s like walking in the dark if you don’t know what the future holds. We sometimes pray to God to show us everything ahead of time because we don’t like wandering in the dark.

Having deep faith requires the courage to believe and hold on to God’s promises. What promises does God have for you? We’ll never know unless we meditate on God’s Word and commune with Him through prayer. Knowing that God’s plans for us are not to hurt us, but to prosper us and offer us hope and a future will strengthen our faith in our loving Father.

Let us choose every day not to be slaves to anxiety and fear because of uncertainty. Let us entrust every hope, desire, and need to a God who will never let us down. As our faith grows, we will observe how an unseen God works in our lives. One of the greatest blessings we can have in our faith journey is to encounter God and see Him face to face.
