Grace Will Lead Me Home…

For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. — Titus 2:11
Recently I was disappointed in the customer service at a venue that I have a longstanding relationship with. It seemed that emails and voicemails were going unanswered and unaddressed. I could feel the anger building inside. Then, I heard the Holy Spirit’s voice: “Pray for them. Offer them grace.” Indeed, that should have been my first reaction as well. I then practiced my “own medicine” with Inhale Love, Exhale Gratitude: Jesus. After a few deep breaths connecting with Jesus, I felt a sense of calm and peace.
At daily mass, I was able to continue my prayers for this venue and offer them grace. I was reminded that the world does not revolve around me and that patience is the compliment to wisdom. I left mass feeling at peace and was grateful for the Holy Spirit’s gentle conviction. How many times have I been offered grace- unmerited favor and love? Grace: God’s Redemption at Christ’s Expense. Indeed, grace will lead me home.
Come Holy Spirit Come!
