Happy Birthday, Granddaughter!

Feliz Cumpleanos Nieta! Yesterday was our granddaughter’s 8th birthday. I enjoy talking to her in Spanish and a few years ago asked her if Abuelo (grandfather) could have an abrazo (hug). She said, “no Papa.” Then I asked her if abuelo could have a kiss. She said, “no Papa.” Then I asked her if Papa could have abrazo y beso (hug and kiss) and with a big smile, she said, “Yeah” and ran into my arms delivering a huge hug and kiss.

The moral of the story is you must ask the right questions. Granddaughter wanted the entire enchilada.

In our lives and relationships, we often get sidetracked by events and activities that do not serve us and our purpose on earth. Sometimes, we do not ask ourselves the right questions or take time to discern what God desires in our hearts. No one can stop God’s plan for your life, not even the enemy. His eternal plan for humanity was revealed in the person of Jesus Christ. Lead with Love.
