He Cares​

Read 1 Peter 5:6-11

Worry is a form of pride. When you worry, you take matters upon yourself instead of entrusting them to the one who cares for you—God. Peter’s epistle is encouraging us to humble ourselves under the mighty hand of God to a place of honor in His service. When we acknowledge God’s presence, power, grace, and love for us, we can entrust to Him all our burdens.

We can cast all our anxieties, worries, concerns, once and for all on Him, for He cares about us—with deepest affection, and watches over us very carefully (v. 6-7 AMP). Knowing the character of God will help us increase our faith to trust in Him. The Word says we are to cast all anxiety to Him and not to social media, vices, or addiction. All these temporal things do not care about us. It will only lead us to a dead end.
