How To Handle Our Problems
Today's Daily Devotion - September 7 2022

Those who obey him will not be punished. Those who are wise will find a time and a way to do what is right, for there is a time and a way for everything, even when a person is in trouble. — Ecclesiastes 8:5,6 NLT
We all face problems and challenges. Some people handle adversity better than others. Some people are natural problem solvers, while others require more effort, and some would rather create an escape strategy than face their challenges. We all want to devise our own game plan, unaware that we are becoming more self-reliant and self-sufficient.
As Christians, we no longer rely on our own strategies to solve life’s problems. We don’t even recognize problems for what they are. Instead, we see them as God’s divine appointment for our lives and opportunities to practice faith, trust, and see God’s faithfulness. According to Ecclesiastes 3:1-8, everything under heaven has a time and a purpose. The writer understands that there is a time and a judgment for every matter, but he also understands that we don’t know what those times are. We may have discernment, but we will never be completely certain of what lies ahead. That is why it would be best to abide in God, trust and rely on Him, and bring back all the glory and praise to Him who is faithful, all-knowing, and almighty.
Help me, Lord, to always depend on you.
