I Will Not Be Shaken
…through the unfailing love of the Most High he will not be shaken.
Read Psalm 21
What do you need right now?
In our own lives, God gives redemption, life, power, and any other needs we have. Sometimes when trials seem too much to bear, we are forgetting what God can give and can do in our lives. David knew very well where his salvation, long life, and strength come from. Israel was blessed to have a Godly king like David. In Psalm 21, David‘s answer to that awareness is a spirit of great joy in God’s presence.
The trials David faced brought him closer to God. As a believer of God, I hope we will see great trials and suffering as an opportunity to seek God and have a deeper relationship with Him. Let us look for comfort from God who is God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God (2 Corinthians 1:3-4). God’s timing teaches us to trust Him and fully depend on Him.
What song of praise can you offer to God today? Today pray that God may grant you great peace and joy in the midst of the pain and misery of life.
A closer relationship with God brings joy and peace to our lives.
