You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast because they trust in you. - Isaiah 26:3

Read Isaiah 26:1-6

The word peace is beyond the definition of having no conflict or war. Shalom or “peace” is one of the greatest words in the Bible. This peace defines an optimistic image: a wholeness of life, full of total health, which is a result of God’s will being complete in our life. It means a life working in God’s way giving rest for our souls, confidence despite our brokenness, joy amidst the chaos and uncertainty around us, peace in our relationships, and success in our life walk. This is a kind of peace that cannot be fulfilled by any amount of wealth or number of followers. Peace can change a person’s whole being and perspective, peace can change the whole world.

Jesus Christ is the Prince of Peace. He became obedient in bringing to us the message of the good news. He obeyed even to the point of His death on the cross that is why real peace can only be found in our Savior, Jesus Christ alone. He provides peace with God. When we worship God, we are removing our focus from our needs because we know everything is all right. After all, God is with us.

Are you looking for shalom? Jesus is inviting you to have a relationship with Him. In Him, there is peace.

Lord, we yearn for you shalom through Jesus Christ.
