I was blessed to spend the July 4th holiday camping at Medicine Mountain in the sacred Black Hills of South Dakota. I brought a salad, homemade strawberry, rhubarb and blueberry pie. God provided the fresh brook trout in the high mountain stream. The meal was complete and shared with the camp ranger, his son and grandson. Three generations sitting at the table on a gorgeous day. Blessed beyond belief.
Before the meal, the 5 year old grandson with a sparkle in his eyes volunteered to offer the blessing. He eagerly held out both of his hands, so we all joined hands in praising our wonderful Lord. He prayed, “God is great, God is good, let us thank him for our food.By his hands we now are fed, thank you Lord for our daily bread. AMEN! This beautiful prayer brought joy and smiles to all of our faces.
