Jesus Was There!

Jesus knew what it felt like to be isolated, rejected, scorned, and ridiculed. Imagine, suffering from “hemorrhaging”, a state of ritual uncleanness for 12 years; and the toll this took on this woman and her family. Then there was Jesus. She boldly touched Jesus and she was healed.

Jesus reacted with love when he found out that she was cured. Jesus welcomed her as a “daughter”- a child of God. Instantaneously, she was accepted back into the synagogue and community as a child of God. Her faith was rewarded.

Jesus removed any sense of isolation or rejection she might have felt and replaced it with His own love and welcome. Hearing God call you daughter, son, or beloved can change your life. You are never alone. Our heavenly Father loves “you and me” unconditionally.
