Lean on God

When life is overwhelming, who do you lean on? Leaning on someone means depending on them for support or encouragement. Life demands so much on us, and if we do not have someone to lean on and rest, we will become exhausted. However, if we will depend fully on our friend, spouse, or partner, they too, as human beings, have limitations. Then, who should we lean on?

Let us lean on someone who is everlasting and will never get tired or weary, and that is God (Isaiah 40:28). We can lean on God for inspiration, strength, direction, and even for specific answers. To lean on our creator is a discipline. We are putting ourselves at the core of everything and we are learning to be humble, allowing God to fill us up again.
