Let God be God

My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. — 2Corinthians 12:9
Daily devotional bible reading: Corinthians 12:1-10
Paul mentions the thorn in his flesh in his letter to the Corinthians believers. He prayed God three times to take it away from him, but God said, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness (v. 7-9).”
In this godless world you will continue to experience difficulties (John 16:33 MSG). No one can escape from the troubles of this world. Whatever your circumstance is, remember that God’s grace is enough. You only require His grace. Never be afraid or ashamed to acknowledge your flaws and limitations. The enemy’s lie is that you know more than God and that you can do things without Him. Don’t act like you’re God. Let God be God in all areas of your life. Your earthly flaws serve as a stage for the Lord to show His grace and power. It requires humility for you to recognize your need for God and His grace.
This week, surrender your weaknesses to God and rely on His grace. Ask God to reveal to you the areas of your life you have not yet surrendered in His Lordship. Are you willing to put your faith in Him? For when we are weak, then we are strong (v. 10).
God’s grace is built on His immense love for us.
