Let us claim our inheritance

I was blessed to climb Mt Brandon in western Ireland last month. It has the distinction of being the 3rd highest peak as well as the 14 stations of the cross. I enjoyed this spiritual walk with the breathtaking scenery of the ocean and nature’s music with melodies sung by the myriad of birds and sheep.

The crosses remind us of the resurrected Jesus, who died once for our sins, brokenness and baggage -past, present and future. The lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world. This is a reminder to have the courage to drop all our brokenness, baggage, and sins at the foot of the cross and to live fully alive in mind, body, and spirit all for the glory of God. So here is my baggage and I am not going to pick it back up. Thank you, Jesus, for dying for our sins…the lamb of God who takes away the sins of the word, have mercy on us.

Let us claim our inheritance as sons and daughters of the resurrected Jesus Christ: Prophets, Priests, Kings, and Queens to live fully alive in mind, body, and spirit all for the glory of God!
