Listen to My Voice​

God’s direction to the Israelites could be no clearer. Even after he rescues them from Egypt and their idolatrous and sinful ways, His people hardened their hearts and turned their back on God. He did not want their sacrifices and holocausts he desired their obedience. Remember the new LOL: Listen, Obedience, and Love. How many of us are thick necked and stuck in our ways? All of us, at one time or another. That is why each day is a new beginning and a chance to reclaim our relationship with God.

By meditating on scripture, we allow the Holy Spirit to direct our thoughts, words, and actions and be open to the will of God day by day. I enjoy those signal of graces that God blesses me with on a daily basis- wildlife, sunrises, phone calls or texts, smiles, and His presence is peace for me.

If today you hear his voice, harden not your hearts (Psalm 95:8); Listen, Obediently with Love to the one who created you.
