But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. - Philippians 4:19
Read Philippians 4:10-20
When I was a child, I do not hesitate asking for toys or kiddie meals from my parents. Perhaps by that time, I do not understand the value of money yet—whether my parents have ample money for the “wants” or not. Of course, I do not get a yes answer all the time. Later on, I understood the reason has something to do with our financial resources.
Like a child innocent with the cost of money or the possibilities of things, we can boldly ask from God. If we understand the truth that God—the King of all Kings, the most powerful, and the creator and owner of everything—is our FATHER, we can confidently ask from Him because we know He is able and that He loves us as His own children.
Believing that God can supply all our needs according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus is not a toxic positivity. The truth—the Word of God—does not deny the difficulty of life or even the time we spend in waiting. It gives us hope knowing that if God could give His son as a salvation plan for all humanity, what more for the things we are asking from Him.
Our God is able!
