Psalm 119 celebrates the gift of God’s law as the perfect guide for life. It is the longest psalm and the longest chapter in the Bible composed of 176 verses, as well as the most carefully structured. The psalm expresses sincere appreciation for God and for His laws through hymns and prayers.
Our team here at DrGeorgeJ is going through tough times in our personal lives the past week. We don’t know until when it will be. There were moments when some of us feel tired and frustrated, but we know there’s no other way but to keep going on. Our scripture tells us God is our shield and refuge. When life is tough or when it becomes even tougher, we can always run to God—in His safe place. A place that will comfort us, refresh our souls, and sustain us. We can always have hope because we have God.
There’s no other safer place that the arms of God. He is our constant.
Lord, you are my only hope!
