New Every Morning

Happy New Year!

What are you looking forward to this year? We are excited for a new year because we see it as a start of something new. Perhaps another set of new year’s resolution, faith goals, hopes, plans, and more.

Do you realize that every day is a reason to rejoice? Because every dawn, God’s enormous love and compassion are new! Every day is a new opportunity to witness God’s faithfulness. We may always have faith in God because we know his mercies are new every minute. Isn’t that incredible? May you keep this in mind so that you can have hope (vv. 21).

Because of this reality, I believe you will have renewed hope and confidence for this year. You may encounter new conflicts tomorrow, but fear not; he will shower you with more fresh mercies every day. We are not consumed because of his mercies. This year’s circumstances may be unclear, but we have a God who never changes.
