Our Confession

I always remind my daughter that God sees and knows everything. Time will come when God will bring into light sins we have committed even though how much we try to keep it on ourselves. Hidden things can also affect the surrounding people. If one rotten fruit is left in a barrel, it can also bring rottenness to all other fruits.

1 John 1:19 says if we confess our sins, God is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. God is omniscient, what else can we keep from Him? We sometimes try to hide from God because of the shame caused by what we have done. Let’s not forget that God can restore and rebuild. He is capable of forgiving us and transforming us into a blessing rather than a curse.
