Our Most Prized and Cherished Gift!

Perhaps we all enjoy receiving presents. Unless it is accepted, a present is not a gift. Some people take gifts with gratitude, while others are reluctant to do so because they believe they don’t deserve them.

God never compelled us to accept His gift. He extends His gift to us out of a deep love for us and asks that we accept his priceless gift—his one and only son, Jesus Christ—by faith. Some people disregard this gift and believe they have no part in it. They do not see the need for a savior. A person who willfully rejects God’s offer of love, mercy, and forgiveness is lost. Refusing God’s love is the worst sin a human can do. May it be evident in how we speak, work, think, and love that Jesus is our most prized and cherished gift!
