Planting Seeds

I planted, Apollos watered, but God was causing the growth. - 1 Corinthians 3:6
Whenever I teach salvation to women, I always encourage them to imagine a picture of their children and grandchildren praising God in the future. I remind them Jesus saved us not only for our own benefit, for us to enjoy God while we are living here on earth, or for us to have a sure slot to heaven. We are saved because God loves even our children and the next generation to come. I jokingly tell them that on their last breath, they know they can rest peacefully because of the seeds they have planted in their children.
Kids’ church ministry or kids’ pastors are not the key people who will preach the gospel to our children. It should be us, the parents or the guardians. Our way of living and our intentional teaching of the Word of God to them are some ways we can plant a seed in our children’s hearts. It is God who will grow those seeds and put it into completion. What a joy to be God’s worker in our family.
We plant the seed, and God will cause it to grow it.
