Pray and Wait with Expectation

“In the morning, LORD, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait expectantly.” — Psalm 5:3, NIV
In our scripture today, David instructs what to do before and after we pray. Before he prays, he directs to God and acknowledges that God listens to him. And after he prays, he looks up to heaven with expectancy, believing God will answer his prayers. This posture of praying gives us hope to look for God’s goodness as we go on our day.
None of our petitions have gone unnoticed by God. Let us pray with an expectant heart whenever we pray. Sometimes we pray for something and we do not want to set our hopes too high because we don’t want to be disappointed. None of our petitions have gone unnoticed by God. Let us pray with confidence.
Remember God’s promises.
