What comes to mind when you hear the words meditation and mindfulness? I like to ask this question to the youth that I am privileged to witness to as a physician. The responses range from being quiet, to listening to music, praying, and doing what I know I am supposed to do. There is no wrong answer.
Anything that we can do to focus our attention on Jesus and His love and forgiveness is meditation. Inhale Love, Exhale Gratitude: Focus on Jesus is a meditation. Reflecting on the words: Smile, Breathe, Love is a meditation. Jesus, I need, trust, and Love you is a meditation. There is power in positive affirmations that lead us back to Jesus-the game-changer.
For me, meditation and mindfulness is growing the divine exchange moment to moment by talking to Jesus my guiding light.
Jesus presence is peace for you and me.
