Taking Comfort in God's Provision

Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain. — Psalm 127:1
‘NISI DOMINUS FRUSTRA.’ This Latin motto reads “Unless the Lord in Vain” or “Except the Lord in Vain.” It is also the motto of Edinburgh, Scotland. Since 1647, it has been associated with Edinburgh, and it is also printed on their official blazon.
We forget that we are limited as humans from time to time. Even if we put forth a lot of effort to build something, such as a family, a business, or even a career, without God’s help and blessing, our efforts are in vain. Whatever we build will not be fully successful if God is not taken into account.
Have you been attempting to live your life without the presence of God? Or was God a part of it from the start, but you forgot about Him along the way? God is patiently waiting for you, and He will not abandon you. Rest in the love and provision of God. May you once again accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior, and make Him the center of your life.
Without God, we are nothing.
