The Best Is Yet to Come...Jesus Christ!

At our Good Friday service, we were reminded that what makes Good Friday, good, and I would offer “great” is the resurrection of our Lord, Jesus Christ. Otherwise, there would be no Easter and new life. In a world that so desperately needs the redemption of offering for our sins; we have new hope for the best is yet to come…Jesus Christ.

The resurrection gives meaning and power to the cross. The ultimate victory of the cross is that it could not hold the Savior of the world. Jesus Christ was victorious over death. Life has the final word, not death. Indeed, Good Friday should be a reflective day, powered by the sheer awesomeness, glory, and magnificence of God- A God who is Love.
