The Good Hand of God

It was a hard mission assigned to Ezra to lead the captive Israelites in their exile to Jerusalem in order to rebuild the temple of God and reinstate worship there. He held firm in his faith, believing and asserting that the good hand of God is upon him despite all the challenges and hostility he encountered.

Wouldn’t it be nice to run the race God has set before you on earth with the “good hand of God” guiding you? We can hope and have faith that God will grant us his favor if we follow, seek, and obey him with all of our heart and dedication. Psalm 84:11 says, “For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord bestows favor and honor. No good thing does he withhold from those who walk uprightly.”
