The Lord is Your Keeper

I lift up my eyes to the mountains—where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. — Psalm 121:1
I remember when I was around ten years old, I was my grandmother’s “eyes” every time we went to church. I escort her and direct her steps because she has cataracts and can no longer see. When I needed aid, she instructed me to always say, “Jesus, help me.” Although I did not have a strong relationship with God during my adolescence, these are the first words I pray when facing “difficult situations” such as school exams, oral recitations, and so on.
And today, as I reminisce on my youth, I can confidently say that Jesus has never failed to help me. He was faithful in inviting me to His Kingdom, and even after I accepted, He remained faithful in assisting me in becoming closer to Him each day. He’s been my keeper from the beginning.
What help do you need right now? Lift your eyes to the heavens and pray to our Lord for help. Don’t know what to pray to God? You can simply say, “Jesus, help me.” He is aware of exactly what you require at the moment. The God who created the heavens and the earth would be of help, always.
Jesus, help me.
