The Servant Of the Healer

Recently, we held a prayer and healing service at our parish. Deacon Mel, a native American elder and a servant of the Healer led the assemble proclaiming the love and healing power of the great Healer, Jesus Christ. Indeed, it was a gathering that professed that all life and healing come from our God.

Deacon Mel also emphasized that we are all responsible for our health and choices. Many people “rested in the Spirit” that night and felt the peace of the Holy Spirit that only God can give.

I always leave with a peaceful heart and empowered to walk together on the path to salvation through the Creator model of healthcare all for the glory of God! As I was a witness to many who rested in the Spirit, I was able to give them a hug and proclaim, “Jesus loves you and so do I.”
