The Ways Of God

I recall crying to God and asking Him why He had not allowed my daughter to pass the entrance exam to my dream primary school. I was asking God why did He withheld that opportunity for my daughter.

When things in our lives do not turn out the way we had hoped, God provides us the chance to seek Him more, trust Him more, and depend on Him more. We are adding another flawless element to God’s special design for our life every time we emerge from a challenge with a deeper knowledge of our Lord. The ways of God are far superior to ours. I wanted my daughter to attend a prestigious school, but God intended us to have a closer relationship through homeschooling. He wants me to get to know my daughter—her God-given abilities, talents, and unique personality.
