How do you keep the Word of God in your heart? We can store the Word of God in our hearts by journaling, memorizing, meditating, or simply writing the scripture on a phone or a notebook. It is a method of regularly instilling the words of God in our minds. This can assist us in developing spiritual discipline and making biblical-based decisions in life.

Storing and comprehending the fear of the Lord go hand in hand. According to a psalmist, the Bible is sweeter to his taste than honey (Psalm 119:103). His Word will eventually transform us and impact our daily choices if we treat it like honey and consistently want and thirst for it. Storing His Word is essential for developing a fear of God. In Proverbs 7:1-4, Solomon emphasizes the importance of keeping and understanding God’s commands: “My son, keep my words and store up my commands within you. Keep my commands and you will live; guard my teachings as the apple of your eye. Bind them on your fingers; write them on the tablet of your heart.”
