In the July-August 2020, “Word among Us”, we are reminded to live for the Lord today. Focusing on the past or future often causes us to miss out on all that God wants to give us today. God desires for us to live joyfully and peacefully today. It is only in the present moment that we can experience God’s mercy and grace. Each day a new beginning and another day to receive his mercy and grace.
You cannot live tomorrow today, and yesterday is gone. Yet today is filled with so much promise and hope. God woke you up today as his gift to you. What is your gift to God and other’s today? Let’s start with a smile and kindness. I bet that works and both are free.
