In Jesus are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. — Colossians 2:3
In “New Morning Mercies” by Paul David Tripp, he emphasizes that wisdom is the result of rescue and relationship. To be wise you first need to be rescued from you. We must desire a new heart, one that is needy, humble, seeking, and ready to follow Jesus Christ. Grace has allowed wisdom to live inside you.
The One who is wisdom now guides you. Wisdom protects you, convicts you, teaches, and matures you. Wisdom encourages and comforts you. Wisdom works to change your thoughts and redirects your desires. Wisdom forgives your past and holds your future in His hands; welcoming you into eternity life with the One who is Wisdom.
Grace connects you to the One who is wisdom.
