You Rescued Me

Then they cried to the LORD in their trouble, and he saved them from their distress. He sent out his word and healed them; he rescued them from the grave. Let them give thanks to the LORD for his unfailing love. - Psalm 107:19–21 NIV
Remembering my past mistakes humbles me. My past does not make me feel ashamed of myself and actions. Actually, it makes me feel loved over and over again.
Why?
Because in those moments when enjoyed lingering in the darkness and the temporary joys of this world, God remained patient to me. When I was lost, and keep on choosing to be lost again, God remained in opening new doors for me to see Him. When I was so broken and helpless, God healed me and made me whole again.
I do not deserve His help, His forgiveness, and specially His love because I have been so selfish and prideful in the way how I want to live my life. Yet God still rescued me. He rescued me not only in my current situation then, but He rescued me from death—eternal death. He purified me, covered me with His blood, and gave me a new life.
Whatever it is you are going through right now, I want to remind you that God is to make a new life every day. Remember that there isn’t a day that passes by without God’s unfolding grace. View life in God’s lenses. There is hope as long as you anchor your hope and trust in Him.
Trust God. He is never late.
