God as the Creator of heaven and earth has instilled in nature these times of bonding that help maintain good order and discipline within the family unit. Time with family create warm memories, a safe and loving environment, promote self-esteem and strengthen family ties.
The Lord God is my strength, and He will make my feet like deer’s feet, and he will make me to walk on high places.
Habakkuk 3:19
I was sitting on the deck drinking coffee recently and with great delight watched a doe and her two fawns grooming one another. It started with the doe grooming one of the fawns. The other fawn then joined in grooming its sibling. Then, they selflessly took turns as they groomed one another. A “Holy Moment.” Through this social bonding, the family unit is maintained and groomed of unwanted insects and debris.
A family that prayers together, stays together!
