Live in “Holy” Virtue

Do I not rather rejoice when he returns from his evil way that he may live?

Ezekiel 18:23

Ezekiel 18:21-28 reminds us to keep our eyes on the prize and run the race for Jesus Christ. We are called to put our faith in action as in the book of James 2:18, “But someone will say, “You have faith and I have works.” Show me your faith without works and I will show you faith by my works. That is why Jesus Christ gave us the “Great Commission” to spread the gospel message to all people as spreading love and forgiveness takes work.

God reminds us that “if the wicked man turns away from all the sins he committed, if he keeps all my statutes and does what is right and just, he shall surely live, he shall not die. None of the crimes he committed shall be remembered against him; he shall live because of the virtue he has practiced. And if the virtuous man turns from the path of virtue to do evil, the same kind of abominable things that the wicked man does, can he do this and still live? None of his virtuous deeds shall be remembered, because he has broken faith and committed sin; because of this, he shall die.

Live “Holy” by the virtues that you practice
