The Most Holy Trinity - Daily Devotion

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. – Mathew 28:19

The sign of the Cross is a very simple prayer, yet it reflects one of the most complex truths of our faith: the one true God is a Trinity of divine Persons. Recently we celebrated Trinity Sunday and we heard the gospel reading where Jesus commanded his disciples to baptize in the name of the Trinity. Through our baptism we entered into the life of the Trinity.

We become an adoptive son of the Father, a member of the body of Christ, and a temple of the Holy Spirit. Wow, what an honor and privilege. So, each time we make the sign of the Cross we can remember our baptism and the blessings and grace given to us by our awesome God. In tomorrow’s devotion we will dig deeper in how prayer and act of love can inspire us throughout the day. It can remind us to always lead with love…
