God Loves the Children!

I mused at a recent meme: A child praying on his knees says, “God make me like my Daddy-big and strong and smart. A father praying on his knees says, “Lord, make me like my child-obedient, faithful, trusting.” Jesus clearly warns us to return to that of a child to inherit the Kingdom of God. As I watch my grandchildren grow up and reflect on my own children, I yearn more for those days of innocence.
I think that is why the Lord encouraged me to write “God Loves the Children” and becoming a missionary disciple to show the world a better way in medicine- to teach, to love, and to heal. Recently after mass, I sat with a young family that had six children. This brought back fond memories of my children at their young ages. I shared a copy of “God Loves the Children” with them and offered them a blessing: May the blessings of the Lord be upon you. We bless you in the name of the Lord.
Truly I tell you unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.
