Mercy Triumphs Over Judgment!

For judgment is without mercy to one who has shown no mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgment.

James 2:13

Isn’t it a blessing to enjoy a day marked full of God’s favor? From the moment you woke up exclaiming, “this is the day the Lord has made,” to thanking the Lord for the day’s many gifts and blessings as you lay your head to sleep. We know each day is a new beginning full of God’s grace and mercy. As we cultivate an attitude of gratitude, we experience and are more aware of these signals of grace. Let me share some!

Recently at my “Each Day is a New Beginning prison ministry; the Lord blessed me with a Holy Spirit -Holy Moment. One of the inmates approached me after our session and asked if I would join them next week for their Bible study. My answer was absolutely! Then I mailed a gift to my nephew at the post office, and I had the exact amount of change to cover the cost. At the food co-op my bill was an even $81, giving me $1 left in my wallet. Never give away your last dollar. As St. Teresa says, “There are no great things, only small things done with much love.” Thank you, God!
