Disciples of Christ!

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.

Matthew 6:10

At a recent “Each Day is a New Beginning” ministry at the county jail, we were blessed with 12 disciples in the room with an open chair for Jesus Christ. This holy hour was filled with gratitude, purpose, and passion. The central theme that evolved was that God does not call the qualified, He qualifies those that He calls. Our conversation was dynamic and interactive as many expressed their heartfelt gratitude for God’s plan in their lives.

Just like Moses who felt unqualified to lead the Israelites out of Egypt, the Lord reassured him with numerous supernatural events that confirmed that he was God’s anointed to lead his people out of slavery. Moses’ past did not define him, just as our past does not define us. When God picks you, He equips you. It is a compliment when you ask big things of God.
