The Holy Spirit encouraged me to share with you the August 19 devotion from our book: “Lead with Love Daily Devotion titled: Life is Messy.
This is the human dilemma. Life is messy. So what? You are not living it wrong. The mess of life is inevitable and unexpected. The love of your life or a perfect career will not eliminate the mess. It is here to stay. It is unavoidable. It is life. What you do with the mess determines everything. You can ignore, blame, shame yourself, or pretend it does not exist. Or you can realize that the mess serves a powerful purpose and lesson. Life is Messy by Mathew Kelly inspires us to fill our lives with goodness amidst this broken world.
News flash: You do not have to have it all together. None of us do. Change your mindset. Acceptance will allow you to make peace with the mess. It is not conceding defeat or failure. The meaning of life is to live for Jesus Christ and allow Him to empower you to live fully alive in mind, body, and spirit, all for the glory of God. Turn worry into worship and watch Jesus turn our battles into blessings. When prayer becomes your habit, miracles become your lifestyle.
