Wisdom Brings Forth Copious Blessings
And the fruits of righteousness is sown in peace for those who cultivate peace.
James 3:18
In James chapter three and four, the take home message is “wisdom brings forth copious blessings, wickedness begets only war and conflict.” James starts with
“where jealousy and selfish ambition exist, there is disorder and every foul practice. But the wisdom from above is first of all pure, then peaceable, gentle, compliant, full of mercy and good fruits without inconstancy or insincerity. And the fruits of righteousness is sown in peace for those who cultivate peace.”
The wise are praiseworthy models, while the wicked prove pitiable and in need of an antidote. And for that we must look to the Gospel.
