John 11:40 Daily Devotion Scripture

“Then Jesus said, “Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?” — John 11;40

Good things happen to those who are patient. Better things happen to those who are patient and persevere. The best things happen to those who are patient, persevere and believe. In our world many are conditioned for instant gratification. Patience is the complement to wisdom. I find the best way to cultivate patience, perseverance and belief is through discernment.

On long road trips, I have been accustomed to travel in silence preferring to listen to the Holy Spirit and talk to Jesus my guiding light. I practice grounding/centering exercises and truly enjoy living in the present moment with Jesus Christ. It is a most welcome spiritual renewal that I repeat often on my travels. Quietness is the classroom to hear the word of the Lord. Inevitably, I arrive spiritually refreshed and more intimately united in peace with Jesus Christ. Shalom…peace be with you!
