Stand Bold and Declare
Today’s Daily Devotion – December 8 2022

“Amen, I say to you, in no one in Israel have I found such faith.
— Mathew 8:10
The Roman centurion was an astute man. He heard about Jesus’ miracles and healings, so he knew Jesus could heal his ill servant from afar. Jesus not only healed his servant but praised him for his faith. “Amen, I say to you, in no one in Israel have I found such faith.” We believe in the healing power of Jesus Christ, yet sometimes our own insecurities prevent us from stepping out into faith. We might think we are not holy enough, or that only prayers of saints can heal people.
That is not what Jesus tells us and the centurion is proof of that. Stand bold and declare as a son or daughter of the most high Jesus Christ, I share the same power, authority, mandate, and commission to heal others as Jesus Christ through the same baptism of “living water”-the Holy Spirit. We are commissioned as ambassadors for Christ to help heal one another all for the glory of God!
Prayer is and always will be the best medicine.
